Earlham College
If we want people to know we’re awesome, they need to know we exist.
Calling Earlham College a “hidden gem” is nothing short of an understatement. Graduates go from the quaint, Quaker liberal arts school, to the Golden Globes, the frontlines of environmental justice movements, and even to the moon! (Well, technically an Earlhamite got Neil Armstrong there, look up Margaret Hamilton.)
The more we learned about Earlham, the more it became clear that their students are their superpower. While Earlhamites may be small in number, their impact is undeniably huge. And so, Earlham Mighty was born.
Earlham Vibes Only.
This humble college in Richmond, Indiana packs quite the punch (metaphorically speaking, they are Quakers after all). To bring the idea of Earlham Mighty to life — and showcase how it’s a powerful force for good — we worked to create a creative expression that reflects it in all of its sincere, eclectic, approachable glory.
Part of the way we helped bring the handcrafted, joyful, personal feel of Earlham’s community to life is through hand-drawn elements like comic strips and other expressive illos.
Destiny comes in many forms.
For one future Earlhamite, it arrived neatly tucked into a 6 X 9 envelope. Upon receiving the viewbook, they wrote to the college that:
As soon as I got it in the mail, it felt like destiny. My heart feels full knowing that there truly is a place where I can belong.
Inspiring feelings like this was ours, and Earlham’s, goal all along. And what a beautiful thing that is.
“I’m at the National Association for College Admission Counseling conference in Los Angeles and our viewbook is famous. College counselors are picking them up and taking them to share with their team, and then sending their friends and colleagues over to look at Earlham’s pieces!”

Consensus reached: this place rocks.
Earlhamites are athletes, activists, artists, and a bunch of other positive words that probably start with “a,” too. For all their differences in interests, backgrounds, and hobbies, there are a few traits every student shares: a good heart, brilliant mind, and impeccable sense of kindness.
To mirror their own community, we created a diverse-yet-cohesive series of posters, with the help of illustrators from around the country, to let prospective students know that Earlham is a place where they can truly belong.
Fun fact: Earlhamites have a longstanding love of birding, so many of the shades you’ll see used throughout these pieces are derived from the natural color of bird’s eggs!
Not like the other squirrels.
Earlham squirrels (AKA Squirrelhamites) are one of the many endearing idiosyncrasies of life at the college. One might say they’re even nuts for squirrels. We’ll see ourselves out.
Their goodness is their greatness.

RESULTS
When it came to raising money, we helped contribute to one of Earlham’s most successful fundraising campaigns to date, exceeding their fundraising goal of $85 million by an additional $33 million. Together, we helped hundreds of driven, kind-hearted students connect with a place that feels like home — inspiring fellow colleges along the way.
